AUSSCHREIBUNG:

Das Projekt "Museum auf der Flucht" am Volkskundemuseum Wien ruft hoch qualifizierte und motivierte Asylwerber*innen in Österreich auf, sich für ein Museum-Fellowship (6-12 Monate) zu bewerben. Grundlage dafür ist ein individuelles Projekt (von Forschung bis zur Selbst-Qualifizierungsmaßnahme) mit Bezug zu Fragen der Museumsarbeit. Darüberhinaus gewährt das Volkskundemuseum Einblick in verschiedene museale Bereiche sowie Unterstützung bei der Durchführung der individuellen Projekte, beim Spracherwerb, bei der Anerkennung akademischer Titel und bei der Kontaktaufnahme zu für sie relevanten Institutionen in Österreich.

"Museum on the run" invites Asylum Seekers to apply for Museum Fellowships

The project "Museum on the run" based at the Volkskundemuseum Wien invites highly qualified and motivated Asylum Seekers in Austria to apply for a museum fellowship (6-12 months). The fellowships are based on individual projects, be they research, art or self qualification that are in a broad sense connected to questions of museum work. Furthermore the museum offers access to different divisions of its house and will support the fellows with their projects, with language acquisition, with the nostrification of their academic titles and with approaching institutions relevant to the fellows and their projects.
