Leitung das weisse haus

Ein Aufruf an alle, die längerfristig eine künstlerische Institution leiten und eine inhaltliche wie auch strukturelle Vision für den Kunstverein das weisse haus entwickeln können, Erfahrung in der Führung von kleinen Teams, im Umgang mit Budgets und Förderanträgen sowie in der Umsetzung von Projekten haben, sich zu bewerben.

 

Das Aufgabenfeld

• Inhaltliche wie auch strukturelle Konzeption des Kunstvereins
• Entwicklung und Umsetzung eines künstlerischen Jahresprogramms
• Konzeption und Verantwortung der internen wie auch externen Kommunikation und Marketingstrategien
• Entwicklung und Verantwortung von nationalen wie auch internationalen Kooperationen
• Repräsentation des Kunstvereins
• Verantwortung des Budgets und Erstellen von Förderanträgen und -abrechnungen wie auch der Lukrierung von zusätzlichen Finanzierungsmitteln
• Die Übernahme des Vereinsvorstandes ist mit der Position obligatorisch verbunden.
• Arbeitsbeginn: Herbst 2023

 

Ihr Profil

• Fundierte Kenntnisse des aktuellen Kunstgeschehens und der nationalen wie auch internationalen zeitgenössischen Kunst und ihrer Diskurse
• mehrjährige Leitungserfahrung in vergleichbaren Institutionen erwünscht
• Umfassende kuratorische Erfahrung sowohl im Bereich von Ausstellungen wie auch Vermittlung und Rahmenprogramm
• Erfahrung zu Budgetverantwortlichkeit und Einreichung/Abrechnung von Förderanträgen wie auch Akquise von zusätzlichen Finanzierungsmitteln
• Sehr gute Vernetzung in der nationalen wie auch internationalen Kunstszene
• Soziale Kompetenz, Flexibilität, Offenheit, Teamfähigkeit, Managementqualität
• Ausgezeichnete Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch und Englisch, in Wort und Schrift.

• Warum möchten Sie das weisse haus leiten? Motivationsschreiben (max. 2 A4 Seiten)
• Welche Pläne haben Sie für das weisse haus im kommenden Jahr? Grundkonzept für das weisse haus für das erste Jahr (max. 2 A4 Seiten); bei einer Einladung zu einem Hearing wird die Erweiterung für die nächsten drei Jahre angefragt.
• CV (max. 2 A4 Seiten)
• Eigene Referenzprojekte (max. 5 MB)

 

Die Unterlagen können sowohl in deutscher wie auch englischer Sprache eingereicht werden.Bezahlung: Das Honorar für die angeführten Tätigkeiten wird auf Basis eines freien Dienstvertrages tätigkeitsbezogen definiert und bewegt sich in einer Bandbreite zwischen 40.000 – 50.000 (ohne Umsatzsteuer) pro Jahr.

Call for submissions: Director of das weisse haus

A call for applications to anyone who can lead an artistic institution in the longer term and develop a vision for the Kunstverein das weisse haus in terms of both content and structure, and who has experience in leading small teams, dealing with budgets and funding applications, and implementing projects.

Tasks:

• Developing a concept for the Kunstverein das weisse haus in terms of its content and structure
• Development and implementation of the annual program
• Conception and responsibility of internal as well as external communication and marketing strategies
• Development and responsibility of national and international cooperations
• Representation of the Kunstverein das weisse haus
• Responsibility of the budget as well as the preparation of grant applications, accounts and the lucration of additional funding
• The assumption of the association’s board is obligatory with this position.
• Beginning: Autumn 2023

Your profile:

• Profound knowledge of the current art scene and of national as well as international contemporary art and its discourses
• Experience of several years of management in comparable institutions desirable
• Extensive curatorial experience both in the field of exhibitions as well as mediation and supporting programme
• Experience in budget responsibility and submission/accounting of funding applications as well as acquisition of additional funds
• Very good networking in the national and international art scene
• Social competence, flexibility, openness, ability to work in a team, management quality
• Excellent language skills in German and English, both written and spoken.

Payment: The fee for the listed activities is defined on the basis of a freelance contract and ranges between 40,000 – 50,000 (excluding VAT) per year.

Application deadline: June 12, 2023, 7pm

The hearings will take place in the second half of June.

Additional travel and accommodation costs for the hearings, which will take place in the premises of the Kunstverein, will not be covered.
