KulturAgenda’s renowned European Museum Leadership Programme, this year extended to 5 days, will again be in Ljubljana. It is very distinct from other programmes in that it does not offer participants a simple menu of how to become a good leader. Instead, the programme helps them to find out about themselves, their own leadership capacity and leadership style and what kind of skills they need to develop further. A good leader has passion, inspires people, gets an organisation aligned and makes a difference to people and society – this is not a text book learning exercise, rather a long process of dedication and commitment to people and achieving a greater good with engaging people in culture. Thus the programme serves as a starting point for young leaders who have just been appointed to a more senior position or already lead a museum or cultural institution. Our promise is to provide a safe and secure environment in a peer group setting and act as facilitators supporting your growth as a leader.
