STIP: 2017-18 Fellowships at the Center for Italian Modern Art

30.01.2017

New York

Application deadline: Jan 30, 2017

The Center for Italian Modern Art, a non-profit exhibition and research center based in New York and dedicated to the promotion and study of modern and contemporary Italian art, welcomes applications for its 2017–18 fellowship program.

Each academic year CIMA presents an annual exhibition that provides the theme for the entire season. In the past, we focused on Fortunato Depero, Medardo Rosso, and Giorgio Morandi, while our current season focuses on Giorgio de Chirico and Giulio Paolini. Our 2017–18 season will be devoted to Alberto Savinio.

Alongside exhibitions and public programs, CIMA offers art historical fellowships at the master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral level, for study in New York or research in Italy.  For the 2017–18 season, we are  pleased to announce also a new Affiliated Fellowship with the Civitella Ranieri Foundation.

Our call for applications is now available online:

http://www.italianmodernart.org/fellowship-program.

We would be grateful if you would distribute the call to your networks.

The deadline is January 30, 2017.

We also encourage you to join our upcoming study days and public programs—additional information can be found on our website.

Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need further information or have any questions.
